This group is about developing a community of families in Toronto who share a committment to social and environmental justice.

What does this mean? We are anti-oppressive, activists (believe we can and should change society), interested in alternative health (not so into giving our kids everything the Doctor orders), believe in natural parenting (minimizing the toxic soup around kids), committed to sustainable living (trying to live with the Earth instead of against Her), interested in decolonization (reclaiming cultures eroded by colonialism, particulalry cultures of the land).

We are people of colour and allies, queer and queer positive, Indigenous and allies, often single and low- income, often artistic, alternative, outspoken, probably like to be in nature, try to bike or walk or ttc, eat organic and local if possible etc. We don't believe the hype! ie. We're not fooled by people like Coffee Time providing fair-trade organic coffee.

You're welcome to come, even if you dont's share all the same interests but you're generally on-side and open to these ideas.

The objective is to be able to socialize together, support each-other, do childcare exchanges etc.
