We are looking for Parents interested in gathering with our children for play, discussing atheist parenting, the latest movie, or the finer points of an italian red wine - and oh, by the way - we are atheists who embrace the scientific world view as a way of understanding the universe.
Parenting and atheism is a continuing challenge. How do we prepare our children to cope with social convention and pressure - from the assumption that "God bless you" is the required response to a sneeze, to the invocation of a deity in the Pledge of Allegiance, to negative assumptions about atheism routinely presented in the media?
Let's get together and talk about - and have some fun while we're at it.
